I see a trend for new devs to want to focus on JavaScript while dismissing relational databases and backend languages as boring and to rigid. A week into real jobs they want help with data and .net.

    Some people don't seem to realize that the frontend just isn't enough.

    And also, even worse imo, some people believe that just knowing a framework is enough. Without even knowing the language.

    Take JavaScript as an example, a lot of people don't even know how "this" works. Or what prototyping is..
    How can REAL js developers take those people serious..

    It's a shame tbh
