I start an IT tech and web dev for. 100+ user company as the one and only IT guy. Immediate anxiety.

Look at it as a good opportunity to learn just about everything. It'll be daunting, but rewarding. If you don't know the answer to something, just inundate them with technobabble then resort to your preferred search engine to get the answers. After a week or two, you'll be all good. Good luck.

@ymas as helpful as that may be, I'm working in an environmental consultancy so I feel that all the environmental engineers and scientists might see through my technobullshxx!

@dh27 don't worry about that too much, most of them have done it at some point in their career. They'll understand. It's all about confidence and charisma.
