I feel google's move to cater ML and AI resource to everyone for free is a complete sham. I believe it's a very shrewd move to promote TensorFlow and google cloud. What do you think !??

In my opinion, we're living kind of a revolution as the world is realising that value is not in code anymore, but in data. So they open-source the code but carefully keep all their data, seems logical

Right, but is it specific to Google ? I mean, everybody learns stuff using the popular frameworks of the domain. Plus, I don't see anything wrong in learning neural networks using TF, as long as you understand what it does "under the hood".

@MeanStreet There's nothing wrong in learning from TF , but you should not completely ignore other frameworks.
And if you learn from TF my guess is that you do miss under the hood stuff.

Definitely agree. I just feel like it's more the learner's responsibility to be curious with other frameworks and under the hood stuff than Google's responsibility.
I mean, they have a product, they promote it like any other brand.
