What do you use to remove the keys? :o I have yet to do so myself (got my first mechanical keyboard fairly recently) and I'm terrified of breaking it. :(

@Navigatr this, it's called a keycap puller and this one came with the keyboard and I can say it works the best of any that I have used

edit: and don't worry, these things are quite sturdy, you would have to use A LOT of force to break anything

and btw: no, that's not light that's making it look too blue-ish and not black, it has a dark cobalt blue color

Wow. Nice design on the long buttons!
  • 2
@sunfishcc it's common to use stabilizers for long keys so they don't wobble from side to side and damage the switch
  • 0
@D3add3d it's common to have spring on long button, but using actual key holder is very rare
  • 1
@sunfishcc maybe for non-mechanical keyboards but all keyboard that I have seen that use cherry mx switches use these
  • 1
@sunfishcc having additional springs is as useful as having nothing at all, these stabilizers are connected by a metal wire so they move together making sure the keycap stays straight

@D3add3d spring is more common, its very hard to pull it out. Your one definitely better, but I don't think larger company use it
  • 1
@sunfishcc interesting, these keys have to be quite mushy without the wire making them stay straight
  • 1
@D3add3d they are alright. But hard to pull out. Razer, Logitech, hyperx, cooler master, corsair all use spring.
I guess only highend micro brands use multiple key holder
  • 1
@sunfishcc most of these brands that you named do not use cherry switches so I won't expect they would use cherry key stabilizers :D It's all about the cost, this beauty was around 300€ when it was new (granted most of that price was for that special color of the case, floating doubleshot ABS keycaps and YOTM spacebar but it is worth it IMO - normal edition comes with doubleshot PBT keycaps and normal spacebar and black case color)

@D3add3d thats a very expensive keyboards. Probably more then all the cherry keyboards I got combined.
Btw the standard cherry stabilizer is made to fit the spring.
So I think what you got is a unique design.
  • 1
@sunfishcc mislabeled, these are cherry stabilizers:

edit: what you got there are stabilizer inserts, not stabilizers

@D3add3d I guess they both are, but different design. 😨

    @D3add3d honest man. I ++ you!

@D3add3d I ordered another cooler master cherry brown keyboard.
Let's see what it made of once it arrived

I just noticed my cousin put Cars magnets on my drawers.... I guess sometimes you don't notice stuff until you take a photo of it

  • 1
@yendenikhil I would point you to https://mechanicalkeyboards.nl/ but it looks like they went out of business
  • 1
@D3add3d not bad, there are more options in US site, I wish it had some ergonomic mechanical keyboards.
  • 1
@yendenikhil they are two different companies, not a single one with different domains
  • 2
