I would consider them languages... I would also consider them programming... but to call them "programming languages" just seems wrong!

HTML may not be Turing complete, but it does get turned into instructions for the computer to run much like any declarative programming language. If you think about it as a declarative programming language as opposed to an imperative one then you could probably manage calling it a programming language.

Weather you think it is or you think it's not, just don't be ignorant. Just because html is not touring complete and you can't do fancy-*shiny* code, doesnt mean you should stuff everything inside a div and write eye-bleeding code. Because even tho you think it's not a real language you will still write shit code... And nobody likes shit code, nor ignorant programmers. So give it some respect.
