When a client reports a css bug in IE11 or Edge, I seriously doubt his/her sanity. For fucks sake it's 2018, please let IE go...

You should optimize for edge though.
If your client has a outdated browser, tell them to make an update - edge 17(?) even uses grid.

@BambuSource I never leave it without it working perfect on ie&edge. But even with the tiniest things, there's always something that doesn't work well in those 2 browsers.

@irene well you're right it's a 'valid' browser but it doesn't matter if I like it or not. If I'm getting paid of course I'll make it work. But I don't think it's a modern browser. Chrome/FF is a modern browser.

@irene what I'm trying to say is that it just doesn't support the relatively new features of CSS that Chrome, Firefox, Opera etc supports. That was it. I didn't say it's slow or fast or valid or invalid.

Edge is actually getting better (although not even launching on my school's computers when I'm logged in... -.-) in terms of performance and compatibility.

@BambuSource Edge 16 (Fall Creators Update) already brought CSS Grid. Edge 17 will bring Service Worker support and some neat CSS stuff like backdrop-filter :)
