So I just found out that half the software requirement specification that I spent a good month writing, half of it may possibly be scrapped due to the client constantly changing their minds about what they want to do.

    Did you just write only the specifications or the code too?

    If you have already written the code, I feel you bro/sis (since you dont have an avatar and I dont want to be accused of assuming someone's gender)

    @bitsnpieces Thankfully I haven't started any coding, but I got to the point of starting to create the dev and staging environments to use.

    I mean unless its a very big software where just the initial documentation and setup was itself a very pain, not much effort wasted I guess. I have been in situations where after a particular feature(on which I literally worked my ass off) was deployed on production, the management realised it is not required and was reverted in less than 3 weeks.
