Thats a rejection you are thankful for.

You are not qualified for that job. They need someone dumb for this job
  • 32
You basicly were rejected from auswitz for being to jewish... be thankful

@commanderkeen That's one of the best analogies I've ever read 😂

@-vim- how exactly open office is way better? A right: open source, Linux ftw, switch to linux, fuck ms, windows sucks... /s
  • 2
@dontbeevil because it is free software
  • 3
@-vim- being free software doesn’t make open office “way better” it makes it somewhat okay alternative at best.
  • 2
@neriald well it is capable of doing almost anything (in some cases even more than M$ office) and it being free software just make it way superior to proprietary M$ shit
  • 3
@-vim- had to use open office in few occasions mostly presentations and believe me when I say this some webpages have better tools and can do more than open office does and even then they’re not close to the power of ms office tools. Yeah hate ms whatever but be objective please

Excel's language is Turing complete, so you can compute anything currently known with it.

That being said, I can't imagine anything like a web server written in Excel. 🤣
  • 3
@eeee apparently, powerpoint (+openoffice and google docs) are also turing complete, but using them in a “normal way” isn’t programming (and btw, I don’t think excel can access the Internet, so...)
  • 2
take that as a compliment to your intelligence, and brush it off as a job you are over qualified for
  • 2
"excel" is not a programming language, but you can write really powerful macro in VBA or VBscript (i don't remember)... So there is a scripting language inside, like javascript. Of course you don't have to know it, but someone does and still works with it, there is no offence, but in some scenario it's easier and faster to use excel than write a full sw in another language.

Anyway still the guy that told you that 2 things is wrong :)
