Just another fad imo, not like Facebook and our data is anything new :p

And the reason is that we just might start caring more about our privacy and this would affect other social medium to take it more seriously.

@ScribeOfGoD imo when you see your stock going down $36bn in just a few days, it will change you. I may be wrong though!

Which world? The same that is still using any google service/product?

So annoyed about people being angry at Facebook. Come on, be responsible for your own data. Just like in the old saying: "Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night. But set a man afire and he will be warm for the rest of his life."

Do you know the south park episode with wallmart? They got a wallmart, it ruined local businesses and they burn it down. In order to prevent this from ever happening again they shop at a store from a local man and over the years that store gets bigger and bigger. In the end they have to burn it down again.

Same with facebook, the new facebook wont be any better.

@TheCommoner282 The thing is that many users didn't allow the sharing of their data so they couldn't have said no.

@hidingFromBoss how many people a day say they want to delete their facebook but keep it for one reason or another? I know I've deleted mine a few times but have reactivated it

@YouAreAPIRate on point reference. And i agree, social media will never die, but it just might get better!

@ScribeOfGoD well i know in my country no one uses it anymore. At least none of my friends do. Although it's censored on us by the government, and we have migrated to Telegram!

I wish I could travel back in time to prevent the idea of social media. The cancer of Internet

@ScribeOfGoD @linuxxx It's kinda like how the wound doesn't hurt until you look at it. We've known for a while, but the mainstream hasn't.
