I look forward to the day that most jobs atleast in the tech industry are remote jobs so that you don't have to spend half the day in traveling and other unnecessary bullshit related to workplaces.

I work from home as a new contractor. Pretty much only had my company a month or so, still with the single (and first client).

Every freaking contract role requires you to be:

    On site.
    Use their equipment.
    Follow their working hour requirements.

This despite IR35 and HMRC’s distinctions between self employment and directorship basically screaming “LET THEM DO WHAT THE FUCK THEY WANT FOR FUCK SAKE OR WE’LL ASSUME YOU’RE DODGING TAX YOU FUCKWITS”

Which of course is what they’re doing, and is why those requirements are there from the “employer”.

    *sigh and facepalm*
