LOL! While you're at it, add a disclaimer that the page tracks the users traffic and collects personal information. That's what the big companies do!
-
@Condor we don't have anything like the gdpr where I am from so I've seen colleges teaching students to store password in cookies in plain text
-
@thevariableman fun part of gdpr, it applies also to those that do business with eu countries.
-
I’ve had this same scenario happen... not sure how I came out of it without throwing something haha
-
But you can put a disclaimer saying the site does *not* use cookies. I think this still makes the site look professional...
-
@cafecortado it's not the pop up message but the illusion that the site uses cookies
-
"My client the cookie monster" haha thanks for this I needed this laugh 🤣 @thevariableman
-
Also, now you need to use Cookies to save when a user closes the notice. You should make it say "This page uses Cookies only to show you this Cookie Notice!"

Fabian11307y"I don't care about cookies" Chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...

@jAsE I managed to convince him how stupid his idea was at the end so all's cool
Client : pls put the disclaimer that the site uses cookies.
Me: but we don't use cookies this is a static page
Client: Still, the pop up makes the site look more professional, kindly add the feature asap
Me: :/
