How is you experience with the Sophos Linux client?

@Rohr I’m loving Sophos, their platform is something I learnt about as a contractor for a school district when we were doing an entire network refresh. I highly recommend Sophos.

@AnonyOps okay... I am asking because:
The company in my last job was also using Sophos. Their infrastructure was mainly Windows Based and I think for a corporate perspective inside a company it is quiet good for the windows platform.
But I took care for the Linux stuff, and I find it always irritating that Sophos has so much dependencies. Other AV tools seemed waaay more lightweight and transparent (in terms of open source). Again ... Talking about the Linux client :p

@Rohr I can definitely see your point and I have to agree, without thinking I was only going off my opinion while using Windows + Sophos. But, with Linux and Sophos I have limited experience. With what I have seen though, I agree there are lighter AVs available.

Basing my opinion off of what I’ve used and felt with how it has ran along side windows, I will vouch for it, but I may have to give it a thorough check with Linux!
