So... um... I'm a real asshole... but this website where I'm applying for a job doesn't check how many digits should be entered for their GPA field.

At first, I wanted to see if I could put in the pi symbol (π). That didn't work.

So, then I added 10 digits of π into the field. When I saw that it had accepted that many numbers, I grew curious and wondered how many numbers can I fit in here.

I added 100, then 1000, then a million.

Sooooo, do you guise think I'll get the job?

    Thanks for your application however we are only accepting candidates with a gpa higher than four.

    I think this will bode well for you. 😀 Just don't tell any of the DBAs you're "that guy".

    one gotta be accurate with their GPA, it is a deal breaker if it is low

    That's gonna course an overflow while inserting in the database and it will be clipped automatically.

    @Teknas depends. Some idiot DBAs use text or blob for everything. :/

    It's highly unlikely people would think about that, anyways, if it's not handled in the backend, then it's a problem.
