This is a first... my app got rejected by Google. :( I haven't even been rejected by Apple yet! lol

    @iDanoo "Impersonation" - they believe my app title implies a relationship/endorsement with another brand... The app's name is "PokeGo Pics": definitely a play on words to give context, but my argument is that "PokeGo" isn't an existing brand or trademark.

    I also made Pokify-pokemon card making app.It got rejected due to copyright issue.I resubmitted and. got rejected again due to impersonation .

    @Batdroid I literally gave up. You don't get to talk to a real person, just canned responses over and over...

    @lreading How did you communicate with Google play store people? Did you reply on the mail ?Or is there any contact line?

    replied to the email. They have an appeal process, but it's just filling out a form, they don't allow for any back and forth.

    The email was no reply so I never .afe the aytenpt. Redditors told me to publish it on F Droid and other distributors. There is no way this can fly on play store.

    @Batdroid It's garbage because the Pokemon go tos grants rights to the users for their own generated content... if I may put on my tin foil hat: this is why massive companies shouldn't be able to control the distribution of content!
