The red programming language is one of the coolest things i have seen in a while!!!

I skimmed over the getting started part, i might end up using this for quick gui stuff

@sharktits it seems to me rather amazing that with such few lines of code we can get something like a calculator going.

Well yeah, the thing is, whenever something advertises itself as 'fast' and 'write less code', it usually turns out you have to write machine code if you want something slightly different than what the developers thought of.

As someone who uses JSON for litteraly everything including using it as a scripting language, RED looks fucking amazing!

@Bitwise i have been reading the docs all day yesterday, it is really interesting stuff. Adoption is damn near 0 tho :( but hopefully that will change

@gitpush well I think the world would be pretty bland if we all stuck to one language. Realistically everything could be done with just a few languages. I for one would not have wanted to build my shit all in C and thank the gods for the likes of Gossling, Van Rossum, Eich and Matz.
