if I have some major updates like XCode, Android Studio ...etc. I do them at night and copy them the next day on a USB.

@c3ypt1c i believe its after 30 or 60 meters of cable you start losing speed, so that sadly wont work, unless you get a load of "repeaters". Still inefficient imo
