When your dear raid fails :(

    Redundant array of independent disks,

    They are fun, they don't let you get risks.

    Just raid them one, two or three,

    but never make them zero only!

    Sorry for your loss.

    I only do RAID1 :) so I have still my data :) but it is annoying..

    I have my gitlab server running in RAID 5.

    Realized that I have more problems... I physically dont know which drive that failed lol!

    I've never done this and have no idia if it will work or destroy anything, but what I'd do: Take one out at random and replace it with the spare/empty disk. If it's up: all good, if not, the drive left is the corrupt one.

    I had only two drives ^^ and it is software RAID, I have no idea what happend if pull out the healthy one

    Wel shutldn't it if there's an empty and a corrupt one as k you if you'd like to initialize the empty drive and if it's the healthy and the empty, if you'd like to copy the content?
