Most times I've my phone's location switched off. Every time I open some random app, which doesn't require any location service, a toast pops up saying location unavailable. This is simply bonkers.

Better cut off the location, and other, permissions for all the apps you don't want to have them.

Or you could provide a fake location with Xposed.

Issue isn't with cutting off locations, or spoofing them. Every app must have a privacy review policy in place, which asks the user, does the app need access to your location?

Developers or Techies usually know about all of this, what about the naive users who don't exactly want to explore around?
