I'm wasting time, money and energy everyday going into the office when I could work comfortably at home being more productive than I am at work.

I'm decidedly more productive at work, but not 30% more productive, and certainly not 30% better compensated. Fact is, unless you live in the same neighborhood as the office, it's pretty much never worth it for a salaried worker to work on-prem if given the choice.

@lorentz That's pretty much the reason why I would always find a place in a walking distance of the company - 1h max.

@D-4got10-01 Even then it's a 20% cut to pay per time spent dealing with job. I'd have to live really close to agree to long-term every day on-prem.
