stisch48147yNever work weekends, unless you work for yourself.
The company that requires it isn't worth the bad deal you make by giving away your extra time. For free. -
@stisch I like it "work for yourself". There is nothing wrong with employment, but doing it for the rest of your life is wrong 😎 👍

@bikki This also depends on the context if the employee's schedule have a saturday and sunday 🤔

Thx!
I had to migrate a server on sunday evening because during the week it would disturb the workflow...
It is especially great when around 23:00h you are fucking tired and the VM takes 30+ minutes to start up while the whole time you are unsure if it is going to start up or just blocked itself... -
f03n1x65807yI volunteered to work saturdays :D but that's because I really really enjoy developing VR games, I worked Sunday this week though since our demo is due so soon. Taking well deserved break afterwards though.
Getting those last minute features/bugs in is really great!
Only reason i'm not working now, my VR controllers need charging lol
For me developing this game doesn't feel like a job, I enjoy it way too much, when I was building mobile apps it felt like a chore.
Also does help I work from home, I can take breaks whenever and just chill if I need to :D
A moment of silence for the people working on weekends #respect.
