Hoping to have moved away from PHP and onto a different programming language. Or at least be in a job that pays me what I'm really worth.

You can deff find them in PHP man. I was offered one that was paying me 50 dllrs and hour. And even tho I passed the coding interviews like a pro I was told that I will not be selected because it required heavy WP knowledge which I don't have.

You can always move into .net or Java jobs, they pay handsomely around here.

Oh shit, just realized you are in Tokyo. Well aren't there many Java based jobs there? Or .net??

@AleCx04 Java and .net jobs are around, but those are a bit scarce and primarily in Japanese companies. Hoping my next venture won't be in a Japanese company.

@IdolWotaP any particular reason for not wanting a company job?

@AleCx04 The primary reason is that Japanese companies won't pay you what you want, even if you're a foreigner. Unless you are really skilled in your job and Japanese level.

But a Japanese company does have it's other problems, like too many meetings, too much red tape, overtime etc.
