    Windows seriously doesn't accept that? Also, why? To windows it's all just data over network and can be placed anywhere.

    u need to prepend \\?\ to use paths which are longer than 255Bytes, except the Explorer.

    @Proximyst its an Very old Bug. Never fixed, because "backward compatibility". This also applies to the casesensivity Bug too.

    I've had a friend challenge me to find a file he hid in a huge tree of folders. All he he gave was the file name.

    $ locate filename

    His face was fucking priceless hahaha
