Holy shit, you have 3-6 web companies... my hometown has *nothing*, not even a grocery store (anymore). Only a bakery and school with 18 pupils or so.

But as far as I know, on the top of the mountain (sounds like a fairy tale) there lives a freelancer (web/print design). Other than that? Old people!

I'm in a situation like yours. Look into remote work. There's a lot of opportunity for remote Magento work right now.
