So I told my partner in not buying a Mac and that in buying a base model pixelbook instead, showed her the pricing and she nearly strangled me...

Why is it so hard to be a Google fan and have to import litteraly everything with an extra 400 AUD tacked on -,-

    Why are you still so set on it? Just get some vivobook or something for 200 bucks or less and slap chrome os on it, you'll even get more hardware that way iirc lol

    @JoshBent love the design, the pixel book has features for us with pixel 2's and the support 👍

    I'll pay extra as long as I know I have full support and first hand with updates and new features

    @lxmcf support on laptops is everywhere bad and you do have the same exact updates iirc? it's really just an apple mentality at thiy point, just with even less reward, except for brand on the product 😉

    @JoshBent not going to say brand isn't part of it haha, in a mass google fanboy and get sucked into flagships :-P

    And instant tether and most likely the full cross platform messaging stuff will be pixel line exclusive for a while knowing how Google does things

    Pixel book can be compared more to Microsoft surface rather than Mac. Pixel book is can be a tab or laptop, Mac's at least most of them can't do that
