I would think that in this Lord's year of 2018, dpkg would be able to install two things at once, but alas, my assumption proved to be wrong.

Most compilers/interpreters are actually ocaml, same with a lot of modern os's and vms. If you want a ton of examples, check pirapira(ethereum) or mirage(mirageos) on github
