Hmm tough one, I'd say option A if you are tired of the people but enjoy the work and option B if you are tired of the work but enjoy the people

I don't even know what career growth means. I don't even know what having a career means because I don't know what a career is in the first place because the people threatening mine never gave me one in the first place I guess, which made the threat very confusing

If you want to be a lead then maybe it’s worth staying, but it depends how much you need the money.
Funny that I keep being made lead and I fking hate it.
Personally I’d take the raise and drop down.
But if you enjoy leading that’s different -
int321934dI don't NEED the money that much, I just want to pimp out my 4x4 :D Not essential.
And the place I work at now is probably one of the best places I've ever worked at in the past 14 years, so I guess I'll stay for that. And, if I do the front end lead, I'll have to do more team lead stuff than having to deal with shitty Angular.
New place seems interesting, but I'll be working on a "slightly messy code base", which I want to do less of. -
hsp018020h10% is not much, a part of it goes to taxes anyway. How much financial difference it will make, only you know. But If the people are good and work is good then better stay. If not then maybe try option A

DenilSmith701843mBoth options are a bit about compromises. It is important to look at the current situation and how important the salary increase is for you. I recently moved to Japan because I received an offer of +50% to my salary, which was very important for me. And in general, I looked at options for jobs for foreigners in Japan https://www.workjapan.jp/jobseeker/ and sometimes this is a big jump in money

Option A: Take new job for immediate 10% salary increase, but have to start at the bottom again, being just a programmer and having to clean up messy code (almost no career growth), which I am a bit burned out from TBH. People seem nice.
OptionB: Stay at current place with no immediate salary increase, but get assigned to Front End Lead and have decision-making powers (good career growth and leadership opportunities) and make them conform to a more standardised way of working so the team becomes more efficient.
