We found a dog today.

We called the Animal Hospital on the tag. They told us the dog was named "Baby" and that he had a radio chip.

The Animal Hospital couldn't contact his owners (there were two numbers: one number was disconnected and the other one had changed to another person)

So we did what anyone would do in this day and age. We posted his picture on a social media platform for local news and stuff.

Within 20 minutes the owners showed up at our door.

😂😂😂😂😂

I am continually amazed by technology

@justasithlord I only knew him for two and a half hours and I miss him. 😢😢😢. He had gone missing for 4 days.

@JohnScott can't believe the owners didn't contact the animal hospital :/

@justasithlord They were an older couple. I told them they should probably update their information with the Animal Hospital.

@xewl I don't know where you're from but it's pretty common for people to change cell phone providers.

@JohnScott provider, ok. But don't people know you can move the number over? x)
Also, even after 3 yrs, you shouldn't be able to re-use it for another contract, well, it depends on the provider.

I just asked someone working for a vox company, and he said hat they abide 3 to 6 months, but there are also companies switching after 2 weeks..

Oh well. My assumption was wrong, I guess.
