@AlgoRythm see I don't know what to feel about such statements because I find it incredibly useful for client side programming although I would be happy with other options.
Pretty stoked about webassembly. That may be something really good that could let us explore saner alternatives! -
@AleCx04 I also am happy about it but JS is already so fucking widely used and standard that changing anything is so damn near impossible.
-
@AlgoRythm the js standards are not changing, they only added new features and marked the leftover functions as deprecated. But it is very likely that they will never be removed.

mundo0349796yIt is never what framework kr library you know, it is how fast can you learn a new one.
So, you can know vue and get a job with some other bullshit.js -
@mundo yes I agree. I gotta practice more on my learning talents (able to learn fast). But hey I still want to see some vuejs requirement in a job 😂

@AlgoRythm it really is. For the most part I am ok with it being a client side thing only. I prefer other things to run in my server. But man, the idea of having other languages for client side is really promising. I have done many things that make more sense in other languages and JS still surprises me with unexpected gotchas even though I know it well...a coworker had to come over my desk and asked me about a particular bind functionality in which the .bind() method was attached to....a curly bracket...literally
{} .bind(some shit);
And you should have seen his face man. JS is definitely a curious language. I really don't mind it or dislike it...but I want more options and I am not talking about compilers or transpilers. -
@AlgoRythm the gymnastics required to follow the meaning of "this" are way too annoying as well.

@heyheni Um so alibaba owns apache now? Sorry for my ignorance hehe I will Google it now
I hope and wish that a big company will support/back up VueJS. Maybe then VueJS can be commonly seen as a job requirement.
Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk?
