Fuck Oracle and their lack of backwards compatibility. Come on...

@spl0 I work as a sysadmin. We develop applications using oracle forms and host them for larger companies. The issue is that we try to keep updated, however we can't just upgrade one server at a time, because then nothing speaks to each other. I really don't like Oracle -.- Their systems are crap too. If they work, they're great, however when they don't, it's the worst piece of shit. Almost no error messages etc.

ironic since Java keeps all is old libraries around for backward compatibility... it's one of the reasons it has multiple different date-time libraries both equally bad but in their own incompatible ways

Oracle forms is ancient though!
