Lol Stallman and his lil ramblings. Check it, Torvalds built the Kernel in order to further investigate what he was already doing with his studies of Minix. Not being a fan of the microkernel architecture, he decides to look into it himself, announced it in the usenet and voila! Linux. The lil rascals at GNU used it for their shit since they never got too far with the kernel.

There is no os but Linux, GNU is just a set of tools that we can pretty much opt out not to use....

Honestly dude, the man came up with such amazing shit as gcc amongst others. Why not bash in the success of that? I hate extremists like stallman.
