I know it's easier said than done, but just stop giving a flying fuck.
I use the fact that nobody will know me in person and I can just remove the person from life as motivation for me to post what the hell I want to post. -
@Stuxnet Thanks!
Not talking about posting though, talking about releasing something.
I want to put this fuck off/you generator online but idk haha -
Add on what @Stuxnet said, I use it as excuse for me to improve, let all the shit feedback come, I take what is true for example bad UI, bugs ..etc. work on that and ignore the rest :)
-
@linuxxx Well, just do it! 😂 Same logic applies. If you think it's good enough just post it.
There'll always be some basement dwelling, no-life having piece of shit that'll criticize it over trivial shit, but just ignore them. Nobody likes them or else they wouldn't be in their basement literally 24/7 lol.
Edit: Exactly like @gitpush said. More eyes will help you improve and even help you think of more features -
@linuxxx Great job :D
If I may suggest when user clicks on the link make it white the area where the message is displayed -
Same here. And I have to put a shop guide online by tomorrow. I'm gonna use the tips from this rat's comments.
-
@linuxxx when the link is generated, and I navigate to it, you show the message in a blue card, make it a white card or something other than the background of the page I think it is better to focus user attention on that point of the screen

A-C-E56526y@linuxxx I do a similar thing but because I’m worried about it getting used against me or something weird in the future. I usually don’t care too much what anyone thinks
-
Alin09116yIt will be hard at first, but you shall see equal quality people will join you, follow you, admire you, inspire you, for what you are and what you do.

@Condor I *always* use prepared statements but I'm more worried about XSS attacks. Although it wouldn't make much sense since it isn't a high security thing, if someone could put in a redirect or something... Thinking about extending the character limit and maybe also the disallowed chars :)
-
@Condor Gotya. The problem is that things like "onclick=window.location#" would be hard to filter out in 10000 variations :/
Why do I always postpone putting things online because I'm somehow afraid of what people will/might think of it?
I fucking hate that 😤
