I can't express in words how much I disagree. The arguments are so invalid for so many reasons. Starting with the claim that it doesn't scale. If you can't scale Node, you have no clue what the hell you're doing with it. I could argue that C++ is crap and doesn't scale, which is somewhat true for me as I have no idea what the hell I am doing with it.

I really don't get it. I hate php, for a lot of reasons, but I still I use it sometimes, when it's faster or better to do it in php than in asp.
So far there are a lot of projects in node.js and people use it and make great stuff, if you don't like it or if it doesn't fit the project needs don't use it, but I see nothing wrong in node.js, it has some pros and some cons, but overall it's a good option for a lot of use cases.
