I start my summer class tomorrow; Applied Probability and Statistics. I took a look inside the textbook for the class, and now I want to kill myself. Oh well, at least it's not Calculus 2.

I disagree with the needing natural talent in maths for AI though (also, properly, you should be talking about machine learning/deep learning, not AI. AI can be any damn thing.)
There's no reason why you can't sprinkle a bit of that stuff into your projects just by using a library like Keras. Of course you'll need maths if your really want to get into it.

I'm just taking the class because it's required for my CS degree.
