I hate ppl who don't indent code and those who don't add proper comments to explain three crap that they've created

yesterday my friend tried to tell me how pythons indent-dependent scoping promotes clean code.

I lol'd and patted him on the head.

Technically, the effect is the same, but you're still missing the point.

Being forced to walk doesn't teach you the value of "healthy living."

Sure, you can learn a language that makes it impossible to write shitty _looking_ code. But that doesn't teach you to write code that's not shitty. (which is a far more important skill)

@rozzzly indentation isn't the ONLY component of clean code but it is an ESSENTIAL one.

My only point was that you can't really write a working python program that isn't indented.

Of course you can write rubbish code in any language but that's not the point here.
