But giving full admin rights to a new guy [no offence intended] does indeed seem a bad idea... -
dufferz6766y@rEaL-jAsE as much as I agree, and I really do, there needs to be a safeguard on new guys, at least until sysop thinks they are trustworthy

That's nothing. Where I intern, I perform security audits on production servers and have root access to all of them. Any system I don't have access to directly, I can always access indirectly coz I know where to find the keys. A small mistake on my part while scanning or testing could cost a lot to the company. 🙂

I got cluster admin access. I could(still can) basically provision anything with as much as 64gigs of RAM and > 12CPUs for mining BTC if I wanted to.
I've never been so cautious in my life before
