And yes, that is a piece of cardboard. I didn't have anything better, and I've already grown too attached to it now

@Floydian it looks really good, but no, it's not the best.
I am used to mechanical switches, have been using MX Browns for a long time now.
But it gets the job done, latency is good and it works with any device, which is awesome for me since I need to type a lot in the phone for testing and whatnot. On real complaint are the key sizes. But you could argue that it's my fingers that are too big 😅

Is the macbook keyboard so bad?

@jcavlp not really, I actually don't mind the gen 1 butterfly switches.
But it's a used model and some keys get stuck when you press down. Keys like shift, '1' and some others on the left side. So it's basically unusable
