Thoughts on Racket programming language?

Have been tortured with it in uni. Inefficient af, syntax is alright, I heard that elixir is a better choice as a functional programming language - so I hate it, but I guess that is a personal preference. Has its upsides nevertheless (having subsets of the language to have a step by step learning experience).

I have almost half of semester experience with it, so don't take my opinion as a pro.

But the language itself is kind of ok. The syntax can get a little drowned in paranthesis and indentation does not always help. As a matter of being a representant of functional programing, well, honestly i would pick something else, like haskell (even if i dislike it) for being simply cleaner syntax wise and having a more powerful toolkit.

@blancobloc @KennyTheBard thanks I started learning it and i also don’t see me using it too much. So Haskell?
