I got myself a new monitor, 2560x1080 (21:9). LG 25UM58-P on sale at NewEgg and NCIX, I paid $200CAD.

    And? Audio over DisplayPort or Hdmi working? Not for me *fml*

    @danzig666 Actually, same problem, but I though it was because I'm using Arch Linux.

    I have thw curved one. I'm selling it this week. For programming higher resolution is more important in my opinion. And higher resolution in ultrawide monitor is damn expensive

    @sheeponmeth i tested it with linux windows os x hd receiver wii u ps3 blue ray player. Nothing worx 😢

    @danzig666 Weird... when did you get yours?

    @Letmecode The ultra wide format is stunning. 1920 is short of a nice resolution for two windows side by side or snapped to half screen. This is still a little shy, my only hangup being that Facebook chat goes into the condensed form, but it's damn better. I've barely used it and I love it.

    The first thing I did was open up a terminal full screen and mess with tmux. It's awesome.

    @Letmecode It's actually the code name for a Linux kernel from around the time I started using Linux.

    @sadra Do you have issues with sound, too?
  • 0
    @sheeponmeth which problem do you mean?
  • 0
    @sadra It just doesn't work :/
  • 0
    @sheeponmeth no i don't have any problem! By the way, as what i see in you pic, you've connected your laptop with VGA (Serial) port cable, am I right?
    If you want have sound on your monitor you should use HDMI cable, Serial or VGA port dosen't support sound transmeet!

    @sadra It's actually HDMI.

    Purchasing it on sale for $200CAD is a fantastic deal! It's always satisfying to find a high-quality product at a discounted price. I hope the monitor exceeds your expectations and enhances your computing or gaming experience.
