Is it just me or is the Collab section gone from the Bar.

Seems to view Collabs now, need to uncheck all other categories which is a bit annoying?

I think someone said that since collab is one of the few used button it’s only make sense to hide it, iirc it’s @dfox who mentioned that, or maybe I was wrong

This is actually a feature. Can't find it on the issue tracker but I remember seeing it

Like can select multiple or just select 1.

Actually I think if all posts including collabs are very a typeof rants. Then the filter feature should not be multiselect?

Should either be All or one of the categories?

@billgates while I can understand your POV, I think that consolidating it was the correct idea. Because:

• The new Collab button is part of the main feed new button so in some sense is still a type of rant
• Potentially in the future other rant types could get special fields eg title for questions
• In a similar vein, the filter option could get more options, consolidating the Discussions and Stories sections or other things, like maybe even search.

Fundamentally these are all posts of one kind or another, and it allows space for other buttons to be on the snack bar (?) like profile etc. That's my many cents

For me to view just coldness now, I have to uncheck all the others. And to get it Becki to All, I have to recheck them

@billgates Yes, the UI is a bit clunky, but in general functionality-wise I think it's fine.

@retnikt @dfox actually just had a thought, another bedtime flash... what about like this:

All, My View (select the sections you want in Settings, this will be the default) | individual tags

Then make it so you can only select 1 at a time

@billgates That's a really good idea. But then you'd have to incorporate the Algo/Top/New section somehow

@retnikt no it would just replace the tags line. The Top,Algo buttons would still be there.

Thanks for reminding me though, forgot to switch the button back to Algo... so maybe could be a problem....
