Got the laptop from the job.
Sadly we will develop in .net and angular.
Machine has windows and i can't use them but whatever it's a job so i have to adapt.
Turned up the machine, needed 30mins to set it up.
Meh. I miss my vim and i3wm.

Nah homeslice. I know what it feels like, but in this case, and if you are using either .net or .net core it makes a great deal of sense to step out of them great tools you are used to. I use .net core with Angular and it really is a great environment. Vs code and vs have a shitload of support for Angular, generators and what not. You might just like it!

Just get the vim keybindings for VSCode or whatever editor you like, or if you really want a terminal, use WSL or install mingw and then vim.

Or, if you *really* can't live without linux, install a VM and give it all your cpu cores -1

.net is actually cool, .net core should be cooler, hope you're gonna work with it since it's newer and cross platform, also oss
