Dear mom,
Good for you you have so many contacts. Lovely. But when you visit someone and they tell you they have a problem with WhatsApp - or anything on their device at all - DON'T YOU EVER PROMISE AGAIN THAT I WILL COME TO THEIR HOUSE TO FIX THEIR PROBLEMS. I already ate enough candy today. And if they were to give me money (rare, we're in the Netherlands) I still couldn't care less. If you're too stupid to fix the problems on your phone you probably shouldn't have any phone at all.

Look, if it's my grandma who's kindly asking me whether I'd sometime like to look at her tablet to fix it, or I just happen to visit her (once in a few months): sure, I'll try my best. But for a stranger I haven't heard about who just got here? NO. I don't know you so I honestly couldn't care less about your problems. Go ask your own grandchildren.

    I can totally relate.
O boi... I even had someone coming at me with the installation of a new router, TV, nintendo fucking ds, phones, ...
Like tf I am a fucking hobby dev, dude and not your fucking sys admin who happens to visit everyone with a technical problem. I am a software guy with basic knowledge of sys admin stuff. Get a fucking dictionary next time before you ask me and get the fucking difference in your (if you have any) brain! Geez!

My parents used to do the same with me, even with non tech related stuff. I refused to go if they volunteered my time without asking me. They eventually learned.

My mother doesn't trust me "because with all those turminels I must be 5up3r 3v1l h4xx0r".. heh, I guess that her ignorance has some benefits. I don't even ever have to fix her shit-infested WanBLowS Vusta PC that she didn't clean up since a decade ago :v
