I'm really confused if I should be perfect in one technology or i should have atleast little knowledge about everything.. Like should i be 100% java developer or 20% java html devops aws docker blah blah.. What according to you will help for survival in the ever evolving industry

    I say be good in your main area and also know what's happening around it. Like 50% java-brains and another 50%- everything else. After all there's nothing much to know about a programming language....

    If you common programming paradigms, you know a bit of almost every major language.

    Learn enough to be able to deliver a certain product on your own. For ex. if you are aiming at building Web applications then JS, backend language of your choice and SQL.
