@GMR516 People are not reasonable. And people do compromises with each other to be able to keep living together. In an ideal scenario, with ideal people, it would be a matter of argument exchange and through logic, the conclusion that double standards on shopping should stop would emerge and become mutually acknowledged and accepted. World is full of non ideal scenarios and non ideal people though 😀
