there was a function for that here on devRant called colabs. But it was removed because of low demand.

@heyheni As far as I know it hasn't been removed, only the dedicated button has. Now it's a filter but you can definitely access it.

About the main topic, it's a noble cause, but I don't think many would actually join through WhatsApp. Many are privacy/security conscious and this service is quite far from that.

@Mba3gar Pretty much what @devTea said. While Signal requires a phone number, it does seem to be the only alternative that exists as of now.

I commend the idea, but don't have enough time to do all I want already.

@1989 You don't have to understand why people want to hide their identity. I don't understand why someone would use WhatsApp out of free will (or Facebook or Google for that matter).

Not everyone has to understand everyone.
