For anyone reaching an extreme degree of frustration, what do you guys tend to do to reduce the anger?

What i've just realized works for me is to get a domain related to the cause of my frustration.

I'm really curious if anyone else does something like that.

get away from it. Like, go walk around for a while, do something else. Sleep over it. Try again the next day.

Alternately vent it to another dev they sometimes have good ideas on how to approach my problem from a different point of view.

I don’t drown my sorrows in alcohol, but I’ve been known to cover them with chocolate.

i go out and have an aggressive jog outside along the highway where i scream all the frustrations and negativity out and it feels good as a bitch. sometimes i fear if police will stop me and think im on drugs

    @SukMikeHok
Shit, sane people like you exist? I thought y'all were crazy.

@1989 I do that sometimes too. Has the side effect of people near me freaking out if anyone notices... mostly my bf. Even if I tell him "I'm fine, this helps me release stress" he gets quite uncomfortable but tried to cheer me up. The best <3

@hasu bot solutions seem nice although untreated anger issues can't really get out through those kind of methods although i've tried some times yet i've had trouble with getting results.

@bkwilliams food is a good solution but I still need to get a self cleaning keyboard for that to work, the best invention i would need is a keyboard that doesn't retain dirt and oil and dust, afterwards binge eating would be a good solution.

@SukMikeHok well the running worked for me a few times in the past but the screaming part isn't something I would recommend myself, deep and loud voice results in scary screaming so i tend to refrain from doing it, although sometimes i do feel like doing it so i think i'll just try to go into a park sometime around sunset and just see how many people would be startled, our police has a very reserved attitude.

@D--M well it's not like there are sane people around here just some that are more skilled in the concealment skill, also there's the case of different levels of crazy.

@Ratsuky find an empty road where no one is around in miles and just do it once, you wont need to do it in a long time then

    Go to the gym
    BEAST mode on
Lift weights so heavy, people stare
Blast bass through earphones (Swae Lee)
    Get a sick fucking pump
    Hot shower at end

The endorphins will make you human again.

@copycat thanks for the advice, my wife gave me the same advice just sadly endorphins just get me hyper and focused not human, although many lac those 2 qualities and have been called more human than myself, maybe the endorphins were not enough? All in all thanks for the advice.
