And they ask why people pirate

So it's basically like a single copy of MS Office for offline use?

Not worth it. I use Hack (https://sourcefoundry.org/hack/) personally.

I could pay my bill, food, and lots of stuff for 1 month with that

Aside from the obvious question of whether this is justified, there is also the question of whether this actually pays off. I mean, who pays that much? Wouldn't they have much more profit if it was like 5$-10$ because 1 more people would seriously consider to buy it and some will buy it and 2 because people who actually like the font would be way less likely to pirate it. What's the purpose of so expensive fonts? Is there a "premium font" demographic that I am not aware of that's willing to pay for the best of the best fonts?? Who are they?

    That's a months rent pal.

@Torbuntu Do you have a like a 2 or 3 room apartment or what?

Mine is a one of the cheapest one room apartments in this particular city lol

@Torbuntu The complex right next door to mine is $200 a month more for a 1 room & 1.5 bath. Loved complex but it stretches my budget too thin.

But that makes sense. The standard from what I've seen is $600-700 a room per room for most complexes here.

Lol good luck affording Operator. Why do you think I went with Fira instead?

@Torbuntu The rent for a one bedroom in the city I'd love to move to after school is $2k a month.

That's living in the heart of the city. But it's nice and well worth the money, in my opinion.

Living is expensive as fuck 😂😂

@thelegend200 looks awfully unprofessional... I wouldn't use this font even if they pay me that amount
