Meh. I don't want to remove my laptop for a couple of reasons. The only times I remove my laptop is when I travel on holiday or something. I never bring it with me to work, nor do I ever bring it outside. My cables are in beneath the table (in one of those cable-baskets), and they all share space with cables from my studio monitor cables, external sound card cables, amplifier cables, etc. It is a mess I don't want to unravel unless I absolutely have to.
