!Rant Security PSA - If your going to post a picture of your desk setup please, please, please do it with the PC's locked and desks cleared. I've seen WAY to much useful intel being leaked on this weekly question and I haven't even bothered to try reviewing metadata.

@Irithyll Everyone's desk pics today, there's source code and terminal sessions up on virtually every screen

Jups. Aaaand that's very very bad... I guess :) Start downloading every porn... pic I mean pic.
Search for the truth... show us da way...

I don't think that this is really a problem. I know what you're trying but meeeh... very sensitive data... naaah... meeeh... or I'm blind (due to my heavy interests... 😝).

Unless literally every single person with source code in their pics is working on an entirely open source project, yes it's a big problem, for a lot of reasons, from the obvious leak/posting of potentially (likely) copywrighted material to less obvious things like revealing implementation details. Hackers and pen testers live on OSINT and posting pics of this kind of thing is like xmas for them.

    🤣😂😭😅

Well... still I get your point. But... nah.
Quality-fucked images and - ofc - these pictures are made by human beings, they're known for their endless imbecility (nice word btw - I like it)...
Small idiots thinking and philosophying about their unnecessary existence. They are born to make mistakes... no... they are borned mistakes! Destroying each other, themselves... 'til the apocalyptic end of everything.

We both should stop exaggerating 😘 😂

Shortened: I know there are idiots... but I think most of the devRanters, especially those who are showing nudes of their devices... rawr... know what they shouldn't show... my belief is so strong... yeah. 🕺

yea I'm not exaggerating, last time RSA ran one of these professional security people were leaking TONS of sensitive info onto twitter. Do you honestly think there's not a single piece of data useful to an attacker in any of the pics that have gone up so far? Even just seeing a directory structure can be a massive head start in a targeted attack.

You can read what I wrote... :)
    Twitter... ooohhhkayyy...

You are taking everything too serious... most of the things are more metaphorical or abstract... or just bullshit. Nothing is meant literally except everything. See? 😜

And yeah, search for an image, comment with the link and show me the stupidity of this shitty humans 😸
Some kids can be excluded before starting the hunt 🙈
