Confidence is code without tests is false confidence

saying code works without tests is at best guessing, at worst lying

I programmed for years without automated testing, like many of us I guess... thought I was a heck of a programmer.

Then I picked up TDD.

Now my code gets more test driven by the day, and the more I get the feeling I don't know shit.

I think it's called progress...
