The Bluetooth API for Android is a fucking mess.

So is WiFi direct. Good luck doing anything with it.

Worked with wifi direct but done years ago. The documentation was a joke. The sample code was wrong.

They should make it obvious that the devices can connect outside your app and then you can initiate a socket connection with one of them. Would've saved me several hours in my RC car project!
